Natural recipes for whitening knees and elbows

1.     Coconut oil:
It is an amazing treatment to relieve the darkening of knees and elbows. It contains vitamin E, which can help whiten skin colour and prevent dryness. Also, it can repair dark and damaged skin. After taking a shower, you can rub coconut oil on your knees and elbows for 1- 2 minutes. Repeat this process several times a day to prevent dryness of the skin. In addition, you can mix a teaspoon of coconut oil and half a teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply it on your knees and elbows for 15 – 20 minutes, then rinse. Repeat this process once a day.

2.     Aloe Vera:
It keeps the skin moist, and can help maintain the colour. Also, it can repair damaged skin cells from the exposure to the sun. simply you can apply Aloe Vera gel on the affected areas. Leave for 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

3.     Sugar: 
To lighten the colour of your knees and elbows you can also use sugar. It helps to exfoliate dead skin cells and make the skin soft as well. Mix equal amounts of sugar and olive oil in order to make a thick paste. Apply this paste on the knees and elbows and rub the mixture in a circular movement for 15 minutes. Then, rinse with mild soap and warm water. Repeat this recipe once a day.
How to lighten the colour of your elbows and knees



Many women suffer from the blackness of their elbows and knees. Using chemical products may help, but sometimes these products have bad effect. So, it is better to use one of these natural recipes.



1.     Lemon:

Lemon contains a huge amount of vitamin C, which helps to remove dead cells and lighten the colour of skin. Rub lemon juice on the elbows and knees for few minutes, and leave for 20 minutes. Then, rinse with warm water. Or you can mix the lemon juice with a tablespoon of honey, then apply the mixture on the elbows and knees. Leave for 20 minutes before washing it. Repeat any of these treatments once a day for two weeks.



2.     Almond oil:

Almonds contain nourishing elements for the skin and can help to maintain the colour of the skin. Rub the affected areas with warm almond oil for 5 minutes a day before sleeping. Instead, you can mix two tablespoons of almond oil with a little milk to make a thick paste. Apply it on your knees and elbows. Then, leave it to dry. Rinse with cold water. Repeat this recipe once or twice daily.



3.     Mint:

Peppermint contains many of the oils that helps in promoting collagen in the body. It also helps maintain the skin colour. Boil half a cup of water with a pinch of mint leaves for 2- 3 minutes. Add some lemon juice and leave the mixture cools. Dip a cotton ball in it and rub the elbows and knees. Leave for 15 – 20 minutes, and then rinse with lukewarm water. Repeat this recipe once or twice a day.
